a5c7b9f00b Six children genetically cross-bred with avian DNA, complete with wings, take flight around the country to discover their origins. There are 6 children that aren't your average kids. Their names are Max (14 years old), Fang (14), Iggy (14), Nudge (11), Gazzy (8), and Angel (6). They're special hybrid humans; they had 2% avian DNA infused to their human DNA. They escaped from a lab they call "The School" with the help of their caretaker (Jeb Batchleder), and they've been living in the mountains since, even after Jeb dies. But when the half-lupine guards from The School, Erasers, have taken Angel, they go on a exhilarating journey to get her back. Along the way, their mysterious past is being revealed, wellsome stunning secrets. I honestly have no words. Like obviously it's so bad that I created an account to write how bad it was. First of all, Jenna Marbles had to produce it so of course it was going to be terrible quality. Second of all, I barely got through 10 minutes of it before having to turn it off. It is nothing like the book, and god forbid the same cast and crew try to do any of the other books. I have read the Maximum Ride series since I was in middle school and now, being in college I was beyond excited to see how the movie turned out. The cast was honestly not that bad, the acting was terrible. They messed up Iggy and Fang's characters, and Max's character was way too emotional and clingy. Nudge was too prissy, and Angel was made out to seem like she was mental. Somebody please redo this, this is a sad sorry excuse for a film and I honestly feel disrespected that they would ruin such a fantastic book series. When I first heard that there was soon to be a Maximum Ride movie, I jumped for joy. Then I saw the commercial. ANGEL looks more like MAX than MAX does!!!!!!!! Max has dark blond hair that turns brown later on. In the movie Max has just about PLATNUM BLOND hair. I could go on for DAYS about how different the movie is from the AMAZING books, but I won't.

Give me high quality film equipment, a decent budget, a good cast, a good set, a good CGI person, and a decent time frame, and I COULD HAVE MADE A BETTER MOVIE.

I kind of feel sorry for this movie. Like REALLY sorry.
